Colby Wait-Molyneaux, Hammer/CMG headed to Worlds

Local speedster and Bike n Hike sponsored rider Colby Wait-Molyneaux (Hammer/CMG) earned himself a spot aboard the 2011 US World Championship squad.   His win at the Tour de l’Abitibi back in July earned him an automatic spot in the time-trial and a discretionary spot on in the road race.  The 2011 UCI Championships are September 19-25th in Copenhagen, Denmark.

Only seventeen, he’s proved that he’s the guy to beat in both local and national time trials.  He’s picked up wins in the Pro/1/2 categories at Jack Frost, High Desert, and Mt. Tabor Criterium.  At the Tour de l’Abitibi, know for showcasing the next generation of cyclists, Colby pulled in the big “W” against the world’s best juniors on his Giant Trinity.
